About the job

In the role of Planning Manager, you have overall responsibility for production planning, ensuring that production plans maintain high quality and meet set delivery dates. You lead a team of approximately ten employees consisting of production planners, analysts, and preparers.

Your responsibilities

• Quality assurance of production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders.
• Plan and prepare production schedules, workflows, sequence, and lead times in production.
• Drive and prioritize actions in case of delays and adjust plans for unforeseen events.
• Analyze capacity, production data, and resource requirements, and produce production reports as decision support.
• Develop processes and ways of working for efficient production flows.
• Monitor and analyze costs related to production to ensure efficiency.

Location and flexibility

The position is located in Fagersta. The work is primarily on-site, with the possibility to work from home one to two days a week when work permits.

Your profile

You have a relevant education or equivalent work experience and a background that makes you confident in leading production and planning in a manufacturing environment.

We see that you have:

• Leadership experience.
• Experience in production and planning close to production.
• Knowledge in Lean production.
• Good proficiency in working with data, analysis, and Excel.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English.
